ThruScan® sXi is engineered for high-security walk-through screening at official and high-risk facilities. It detects threat metals defined by international security authorities—magnetic and non-magnetic, separately or together—and provides clear audible/visual alerts. It can also be configured to operate at prison-level sensitivity (as stated).
To support fast pedestrian flow, it includes a Green/Red Go/Stop traffic light system and is rated for 60 people per minute. The system is designed to run 24/7, remains stable around nearby metals (as stated), and features auto-calibration so it can adapt to changing environments without manual re-tuning.
For integrations, ThruScan® sXi includes relay output for camera recording, turnstiles, and similar controls, plus a digital output for PC/network connections. It also includes a standard internal UPS capable of up to 4 hours of operation during power cuts
